GHRH & GHRP Peptides

This category groups two related but structurally distinct sequence families.

GHRH analogues are modelled on growth-hormone-releasing hormone, a 44-amino-acid hypothalamic peptide; most of them reproduce its first 29 residues and carry substitutions at positions that are susceptible to enzymatic cleavage. GHRP, growth-hormone-releasing peptides, are much shorter synthetic sequences, in several cases only five residues long, and are assigned to the ghrelin-receptor ligand class. The two families share no sequence homology; they are listed side by side because the literature discusses them together, not because they are structurally equivalent.

Tesamorelin is a GHRH(1-44) analogue with a trans-3-hexenoyl group at the N-terminus. CJC-1295 (No DAC), also described in the literature as modified GRF(1-29), is a 29-residue GHRH fragment with four amino-acid substitutions and, in this version, without the drug-affinity complex. Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide of the GHRP family. All three are chemically synthesised and supplied as salts.

Delivery is as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial. Incoming goods are recorded with their delivery date and storage location, so that a vial stays linked to the documentation that belongs to it. The material is tested at regular intervals by an external, independent laboratory, which uses high-performance liquid chromatography for purity and mass spectrometry for identity, together with heavy-metal and endotoxin tests. Available certificates are published in the lab area with the product and test date they refer to; where no certificate has been published yet, the material is marked as pending. The guide on how to read a certificate of analysis explains the individual entries.

Sealed vials are kept cool, dry and away from light, as described under storage of lyophilised peptides. Shipping is from Germany within the EU, securely packed.

These peptides are reagents for in-vitro research only. They are not medicinal products and are not intended for use in or on humans or animals.
